One day, a man came running toward our sailboat, which was moored alongside the dock. He exclaimed enthusiastically: “Gorgeous, so gorgeous—your boat is gorgeous!” Although he had originally come to buy a standard cruiser, the aesthetics and lines of the beachable CAPE COD 896 immediately won him over.

A year and a half later, his plans had changed, and his initial infatuation was set to find a new home at Flathead Lake in Montana… Charlie contacted us again, wanting to moor one of our sailboats at the dock in front of the new house he was building on the lake.

Recently, Eddie called us with a dual objective: he found the CAPE COD 767 Lounge sumptuous and incredibly elegant, and he wanted delivery to the Hamptons within a few months. The Bordeaux team took on the challenge of pulling off this project on a very tight schedule. Eddie was able to choose all his options—including a magnificent grey hull color that perfectly matches his motorboat. Today, both vessels sit proudly in New Haven Bay, right below his home…
